New Year, New Resolutions?

Wow, has it really been three months since I have posted!! Well I am gonna try and attempt to post a post everyday, with a pic and just a little blub. Chesney is growing up so fast and time is flying by! We went to STG for christmas and we were all spoiled!!

14 Months

So I think that my lack of posting goes to show how busy a 1 year old keeps her mommy!! She is everywhere and into everything! She has definately mastered crawling so well that she goes up and down the stairs! She is standing on her own and will take a step if she thinks no one is watching, I am in no hurry for her to walk, cause I have a feeling it will be running not walking!! Hasnt really been too much going on just getting ourselves prepared for the fact of winter, ugh!! Ches weighs about 17 pounds, she is not much of an eater, she likes her grilled cheese!

My baby is 1

I can not believe it has been a year ago that we had that crazy morning!! Turned out to be the best day of my life I was blessed with such a sweet litte girl. She is the light of our lives and everyone that is around her. For being so tiny she has a huge personality! There are so many things to say about Chesney and how much we love her. She is growing up so fast I wish there was a way to slow it down, it is so fun to watch her learn and explore. She started crawling about a month ago and pretty much went right to standing up to everything. I can tell she would much rather be walking. She has had a couple of falls and she is so dramatic about it. Even when she is told no, yes she is told no once in awhile, she thinks it is the end of the world. Some things about our little angel:

crawling, standing up to everything
love her dollys and give them hugs, so cute
is afraid of elmo and the vacum
has two bottom teeth, and loves to bite everyting and anything with them, and it hurts
only like food that she can feed to herself, and tries to stuff it all in her mouth at once
love to cuddle, on her own terms
dances to the mickey mouse hot dog song
loves to dance whenever she hears music
is pretty good at throwing tantrums
likes to laugh when daddy tickles her
is learning what belly is and pulls up her shirt
gives kisses
hates, hates, hates to get dresseed or have her diaper changed (Please tell me that will end soon)
will not do anything  unless it is on her own terms

I am sure there are many more I will think of later. We are going to the doctor next week so I put up her weight and stuff  then. Since she has been on formula she has gained a couple pounds!

Chesney, I just want you to know how much I love you and it was worth every struggle we went thru to get you here and I would do it all over again. You are my life, you make me so happy, I hope that we can be the best of friends and just know that I will always be here for you no matter what. I can't wait to continue to watch you grow and learn.  I love you!

11 Months

One more month and she will be one, can't believe it everytime those words come out of my mouth. We have had a pretty rough go for the las month. I decided to wean Ches and it seems like ever since it has been a struggle with her health. Nothing major thank goodness. She first got and ear infection, went on anitbiotics, got thrush, which took two weeks to get better, then she got a fever for three days then got a rash! The doctor said she has Rosiola which my mom said she got all the time as a kid! As far as not nursing she is doing really good has her moments but is taking the bottle well. She does not like baby food, she doesnt eat that much but I keep telling myself she is pretty little. We got her pics done and they are amazing even though we did not get one smile out of her. I need to take more pics and update more for my sake so I can remember it. Just the last few days she is CRAWLING. Dont know if I am ready but she is doing it. I think she would rather be walking!! At the doctor she weighed 15lbs 10 ozs, she is gettin big but still tiny!

10 Months

We went to Idaho for my aunt and uncle's 50th Anniversay party it was so much fun and loved seeing alot of family that we have not seen for a very long time!!

Chesney turned 10 months old, and as usual I can't believe she is already that old. She is getting so big it makes me sad and happy at the same time. I miss the cuddly little one that I could just watch lay and sleep. But I love seeing her become her own little person. She has quite the personality and I love it. She is not afraid of anything, well take that back the last couple days she has been afraid of our dog Daisy and Elmo.  But she loves to be crazy, she loves to scream and she is always talking. She loves her jumper, and she loves to eat. She didn't know what to think of it at first but is startin to like it more and more. We took her to an Alergenist at Primary Childrens, because her dad is allergic to everything and I wanted to know what to do so she wasn't. The best news was that allergies are NOT genetic!! YAY!! he also said there is no way to prevent them. I weighed her this morning and she weighed 15.4 she is just a little girl. She is getting her bottom two teeth they just popped thru she has taken it pretty well with the help of teething tablets and tylenol. I can't wait to see what she looks like with teeth. 

9 Months

Chesney turned 9 months on May 18th!! At her checkup she weighed 14.2 and was 26" long. She is doing good growing. She is growing up too fast. She crawls just not the normal way, I have a feeling nothing Chesney does will be normal, she is very stubborn. She crawls backwards on her head, I don't know if she will ever crawl right because she can get where ever she wants that way. Just takes awhile longer. We spent two weeks in St. George while Matt was working in North Dakota. It was hard to be away from him and he was worried that she would forget him, which of course she didn't.  But we sure did enjoy the weather and being spoiled. Her grammy spoiled her so much, she doesn't want to be put down, unless of course to walk. Grammy showed her that she could walk while being held under the arms and now that is all she wants to do!! She can touch in her walker now and go backwards if she has shoes on. She is such a lovey baby she loves to give kisses and hugs, she even squeezes ya. She has started lauging and it is so cute! She loves to talk and even sings when you turn up the music!!
